Vesak Day Candles Celebration in Bangkok Thailand

Vesak, Vesakha or Wisakha Bucha Day is the most important and beautiful celebration in the year for all Buddhist countries. It celebrates the birth, the enlightenment and the passing away of the Buddha. Worshippers are turning around the tempe with a candle, incense and a lotus flower.
I shot these pictures in Bangkok, Thailand, at the temple Wat Pathum Wanaram. It is a haven of peace in the very busy neibourghood of Siam, situated just between the shopping malls Siam Paragon and CentralWorld.

EMQUARTIER Shopping Mall Phrom Phong Bangkok Thailand

The new prestigious shopping mall in Bangkok is divided into 3 buildings : The Helix Quartier, The Waterfall Quartier and the Glass Quartier. They have their own style and original design. It is situated on Sukhumvit BTS Phrom Phong.

You will find the usual brands you are used to, but as well some original shops for decoration, make-up, jewellery and food.

Thai Japan Anime Music Festival 2015 Bangkok

Saturday the 14th and Sunday the 15th of March 2015 took place the 5th edition of the famous Thai Japan Anime Music Festival in CentralWorld, Bangkok,Thailand.
This fantastic event gather the most beautiful models and costumes of Cosplay from Thailand.

Hermes Craftsmen Demonstration at Siam Paragon Bangkok

The prestigious french company Hermes organized a demonstration with their best craftswomen and craftsmen from France at Siam Paragon in Bangkok , Thailand : leather worker, silk printer, engraver, saddler , tie seamstress, watch maker, and gem setter.
The event was called “Festival des Métiers”
You can see below how they work for every discipline.
It took place from February 27th to March 2nd, 2015 at the Hall of Fame.

Boy Pakorn Chatborirak Movie Star Bangkok Thailand

Boy Pakorn Chatborirak was at CentralWorld the 24th of February 2015 for a big event with other actors. thousands of fans where here to see him and take selfies.

Boy Pakorn was born in Bangkok the 20th of August 1984 from a Thai-Chinese family. He started as a photographer, and then had his first part in “4 Romance” which is a part of SHY . Then he starred in Fai Ruk Arsoon on Channel 3. That was the beginning of a very successful carrier.
He is involved in charity and ecological projects
In 2014 he has the lead role in 3 TV Series : Nai Suan Kwan, Mafia Luerd Mungkon and Keaw Ta Warn Jai.
He’s a singer as well with “Nai Om Khan” in 2013 (GMM Grammy)

Chinese New Year in Bangkok and Beautiful Thai Girls

Pretty Thai Girls from the Thailand Mobile Expo 2015 Bangkok

Thailand Mobile Expo is a major IT event in Thailand. It takes place at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, in the center of Bangkok. This year 2015, it started the 12th of February for 3 days. The major brands present their latest technology in mobile phone, software, wearable, gadgets. Samsung, Sony, LG, AIS, True, i-Mobile, TG Fone, VIVO, WIKO were present to make demos of their new products.
The most beautiful models attended the fair to welcome the customers and give them of the informations they needed.

Lumpini Park Chinese Pavilion Bangkok Thailand

Lumpini Park was created in the 1920s by King Rama VI on royal property.
It was named after Lumbini, the birthplace of the Buddha in Nepal.
It is situated in the center of Bangkok, close to the BTS Sala Deang, MRT Silom .

There are many pavilions and sculptures that you can discover in the park. Here I shot the Chinese Pavilion, rich in colours and symbols.

A very quiet and elegant place, in this busy and lively neighbourhood. It’s a thai traditional house, “Jim Thompsom House” style. for booking, the phone is 02 266 826 . map on page 2.

The food is excellent, with many specialities from the Chef, which are noticed on the menu. a chili symbol is also placed on the side if the meal is spicy. you can ask them if you want it less spicy and they will usually take it into account.
