Beautiful Asian Girls at the Bangkok Motor Show 2017

The 38th Bangkok International Motor Show is taking place for the public from the 29th of March to the 9th of April 2017. The 27th is for the VIP’s and the 28th is for the Press.

The theme of this year is “Reach to the Planet of Technology” . More than ever, technology takes an important place in the car industry, to make car more efficients, environmentally friendly, and well designed.

The venue is as usual Impact Challenger 1-3, Muang Thong Thani.

The most beautiful models are here to present the cars and give informations to the visitors.

I shoot with a Sony A7R2, a zoom lens Sony G Master 2470F2.8 and a flash Sony F43M

Amazing views of Bangkok skyscrapers from Bayoke Observation Deck

You can enjoy great panoramic city views of Bangkok from Bayoke II Observation Deck, 84th floor. It’s the second tallest building of the city, after Mahanakon Tower which was build recently. The price is 350 baht per person. It’s a 10-15 minutes walk from CentralWorld.

I choose a sunny day to go there. However, if you plan to go there to take professional pictures, you have to be there from 4pm to 5pm . The rest of the time the revolving floor is moving which could make you picture less sharp, even if you shoot at a high speed. This makes of course impossible any long pose picture at night time… I’ll need to find another roof to take panoramic night pictures.

Most of the pictures feature Rachaprasong, Siam, Ploenchit, and Sukhumvit.

Street Photography in Paris : le Marais,Odeon, Notre-Dame, St Michel, St Germain

I shot these pictures in Paris in November 2016, with a telephoto lens : My Sony A7R2 and a Sony G Master 70-300mm . It was a very interesting experience because usually I shoot street photography with a 50mm lens or a 24-70mm. A long lens gives you a different perspective and you can shoot with a different state of mind. You see things that you would not see otherwise. I edited them in Lightroom, and I choose black and white because it helps to focus on the subject, there is less distraction.

Paris in black and white has a unique look and it enhances the romantic aspect of the city.

Beautiful Cosplay Girls at Thailand Game Show 2016 in Bangkok

Thailand Game Show (TGS) is one of the best Cosplay event in Bangkok.
The most beautiful girls of Thailand come to show their costume and join the contest.
This year, it took place in Siam Paragon the 9th, 10th and 11th of December 2016.
I shot 50 of them with my Sony A7R2, Sony G Master Lens 2470F2.8, and the flash Sony F43M.

I shot some street photography in Hong in different locations : Kowloon,Mongkok, Tsim Sha Tsui, Harbour, Central. My camera was the Sony A7R2 and the Sony G lens 2870F2.8 . Hua Hin Centara Grand Beach Resort Night Pictures in Thailand

From a modest fishing village, Hua Hin became a famous beach resort thanks to the railway which was opened in 1911.

The Railway Hotel was build in 1922 by Mr. A. Rigazai, the State Railways’ Italian architect. The hotel had 14 bedrooms, a lobby lounge, bar, restaurant, billiards room, wine storeroom and large verandas. More guest rooms and restaurants were added through the years.

Parts of the famous film “The Killing Fields” (1983) were shot in this hotel which was supposed to be Le Royal Hotel in Phnom Penh.

In 1988, the hotel was purchased by Accor and became the Hotel Sofitel.

It became the Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin in 2014. This 5 stars luxury hotel is a member of the Leading Hotels of the World.

I shot this pictures with a Sony A7R2, Sony G lens 24-70F2.8, the tripod Manfrotto 190 (Markins ballhead) and the Sony infrared remote RMT-DSLR2. The exposure time goes from 30 to 96 seconds (bulb mode). aperture from F11 to F22. ISO 100 for all the pictures. Light editing in Lightroom from Adobe.

Amazing Asian Cosplay Girls at Thailand Anime Festival in Bangkok

Anime Festival Asia Thailand, AFATH 2016 is a major even for Anime and Cosplay in Thailand. Many stars came from all over Asia to perform on stage, and the most famous cosplayer from Thailand came with amazing costumes.

It took place the 19th,20th and 21st of August 2016 at Siam Paragon, 5th floor, Royal Paragon Hall. A great venue for such an event, easy to reach by the sky train and big enough to welcome everybody.

I shot 500 pictures theses 3 days and selected the best 50 that are published here.

I shot the pictures with a Sony A7R2, Sony G lens 24-70 F2.8 and the flash F43M.

Lanna Folklife Museum in Chiang Mai Thailand : Art, History, Statues, Lifestyle

The Lanna Folklife museum is set in a 1935 colonial style building which was previously the Municipal Court of Chiang Mai. It was open in december 2013 after a complete renovation to promote the Lanna heritage and rich culture.

The museum displays statues, temples reproductions, artefacts, and reproduction of the lifestyle and knowhow of the Lanna traditional culture. There is as well a special collection of Buddhas made in quartz by local independent artists.

It is conveniently situated in the center of Chiang Mai (Phrapokklao Road)
opposite the 3 Kings statue.

It is open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 8.30am to 5pm. closed on Monday.
