The Davhara Hotel is a recently build (2014) luxurious boutique hotel in the center of Vientiane, Laos. Very good location, close to Nam Phu, a neighbourhood with many cool cafes, restaurants and shops. At the same time, it is closed to the mekong river and the night market. From the hotel you can go almost anywhere by walking if you like that or you can find a tuk-tuk very easily .
I had the “Premier” category, which is the best before the Suite. It was comfortable and spacious.
I love the colonial style of the decoration, it fits the special atmosphere of Vientiane
The manager, Mr Apollo is very friendly. He’s Laotian and has been raised to France. so he’s speaking very well french and of course english.
the first night I was at the 7th floor, the higher, but there was the noise of the engine from the elevator. So the second night I moved to the 6th floor and it was quiet.
